New Bobbi Brown Brushes- My make-up routine.

It took me about an hour to do my makeup today as I received my new Bobbi Brown brushes!! Exciting!! They are so amazing its an 10 piece set.
So here's a few before and after pics...

Before any make-up, i used a baby wipe to take off any old make-up.
I have quite a few freckles which i do like them theres just so many of the darn things. I also have very dark circles under my eyes which i definately like to cover up!!

Products i used were:
  • L'oreal Paris The foundation True Match, i mixed it this time with Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish as i had a little bit left over, it was a lighter colour than the L'oreal so therefore it matched my skin tone slightly better than usual ( i bought the L'oreal foundation in the summer so my complexion had paled )  So i applied that with my new foundation brush to my whole face starting with my nose and worked my way out.
  • i then applied with my blending brush Benefits Get Even  face powder, it blots away shine and discoloration, just in case my foundation has a slight shine on it. It makes my face a great canvas to start on.

  • OK so i sported a slight scouse brow today lol! I had sharpened my brown eyeliner pencil ( just a cheapy brown eye pencil )  which i use for my eyebrows as i don't see the point in spending out on separate eyebrow pencil as it seems the eyeliner does the job if not better...when i don't apply too much lol.
  • With my bronzing brush i applied my Natural Collection bronzing pearls in upwards strokes onto my cheek bone ( mine don't seem to exist....)
  • Then a little bit of pink blusher over the top to not make it look so....bronzed, again from the natural collection range. ( they're such great prices....like £1.99 each for most of their products!! )
  • I picked up a brilliant L'oreal eye-shadow compact, it has three colours inside, a creamy colour, a light brown and a darker brown....so you can do a smokey eye effect...
  1. I firstly applied the light cream colour to the whole of my eyelid all the way upto my eyebrow,
  2. Secondly the lighter brown to the boney part that is just above the eye socket,
  3. Finally added the darker brown to just the outside of my eye socket and underneath my eye. Just like this...

  • Lastly I applied No 7 liquid eyeliner in black, all along the edge of my eye and underneath, more at the corner of my eye. Then my amazing mascara which is made by Bourjois Volume Clubbing, this is my fave mascara because its so easy to apply with a large brush and it really makes a difference, plus it doesn't flake off.

The fashion show

So Saturday night went down a treat! With over 70 guests seated enjoying a free glass of wine and having a giggle the show started, all the girls were great showing some very gorge lingerie, clothes and shoes. But of course the favourite part for me had to be the individual exciting designs from Alexandra King which myself and another girl Kim modelled!
We both had 3 different outfits to wear plus I wore an amazing corset full of pretty colours and silk purple ribbon..... I seriously need to invest in one!

Kim wore a beautiful cream prom/ wedding dress which fell to the knee with a lovely sweetheart shaped part and organza fabric which rested on her shoulders.

Then the second outfit was the summer look, mine was made from a beautiful peach and mint green bird print fabric which had an underskirt which made the dress fall beautifully. Again Kim wore a pink satin dress and teamed it with a gold belt, it reminded me of Audrey Hepburns black cocktail dress that she wore in the 1954 film Sabrina.

Again Kim wore a really nice tie-dyed with black lace evening dress falling to the knees.
It was a great night!

The Leopard Party Dress
The third dress that I wore is my fave, the leopard print party dress! It made me look so tiny which I loved!

Beautiful lace on the wedding dress.

My first outfit was the white swan lake looking prom/ wedding dress which felt amazing on! The sequined belt was to die for!

The dress on the right is a wedding dress of Alexandra Kings friend, with a beautiful satin and neat lace on the upper section.

Dress fitting

Iv had quite an exciting day today, myself and my friend Anna (who also makes the dresses) went over to Alexandra Kings studio so I could try on more beautiful dresses for a breast cancer awareness charity fashion show which is running tomorrow night in the local village Street. Theres lingerie being modelled as well as dresses and jewellery. I will be wearing three different dresses, a prom/ wedding dress, a summer beach dress and a leopard dress which I love!!!
Hopefully we'll be able to take a few pictures, they'll be hair dressers and a makeup artist too.
So we had cups of tea and Florentines galore :)
Plus I think I now want a corset!! I tried one on which (alexandra) had made oh my I had a mini waist!! Amazing x

Dog walking :)

My sporting my walking outfit......fetching!

My handsome boy Eley

Pin up scarf

Ok so I'm dressed at last, i am wearing my scarf from work (Osprey London).
It is made from a material called Modal which is a soft and smooth fibre.
The Pin-Up...

I have also got on my favourite blue denim jeans, they're the real skinny tight fit jeans from Topshop, I think they cost me about £45 a bargain though as I wear them all the time and they're so comfortable. Then just a plain pale pink oversized t-shirt from Whistles which cost me £10 from the outlet store in Clarks Village. Knee high black socks on to go with my hunter wellies which again were a bargain of £35..... It's great having kids sized feet hehe!! X

Afternoon all
OK so this is my official first blog on here ever! I'm still sporting a pair of pink and white pj's and dressing gown that i was bought for Christmas.......am so unmotivated today hence why i am on here.
My plans for today are....get dressed, walk my lovely pooch Eley (a rather hyper springer spaniel ) and do a few things around the house, then no doubt ill get back on here and sort the rest of my awful blog page out as i have no idea how to make it look pretty :(
When it is up and running i will post plenty of pictures.... makeup, jewellery and clothes for you all to see.
Enjoy my blog of my everyday life :)
